Heath Lambert and Ai Claims Solutions lead the way
with a fully integrated motor accident management service

The value of any insurance policy is judged primarily on the speed and efficiency with which a claim against it is handled. None more so than car insurance. Anyone who has had the unfortunate experience of being involved in a motor accident would agree that an effective and efficient insurance claim service is invaluable in getting you and your car back on the road quickly and cost effectively.

Heath Lambert Group felt that there was a gap in the market to improve the claims experience for fleet managers. So it partnered with Ai Claims Solutions, a specialist service provider covering all the key aspects of any motor insurance claim, to offer a fully integrated motor accident management service. Through the use of a dedicated 24/7 Driver Care Centre for incident notification and vehicle recovery, Heath Lambert and Ai will mobilise their services to reduce the costs associated with motor accidents and minimise the disruption to a client’s business.

This new service delivers the following key benefits to clients:

• Credit hire and repair - Why pay and claim back repairs and other associated costs where the accident was 100 per cent not your driver’s fault? In these situations Heath Lambert will arrange for repairs through its approved repairer network and provide a like-for-like replacement vehicle if required. The associated costs will be recovered directly from the responsible party or underwritten by Heath Lambert, thereby improving its client’s claims experience and having a positive effect on cash flow.
• Full UK coverage from a network focussed on controlling the entire repair process - Heath Lambert has an established repairer network in more than 160 locations, working towards the PAS 125 Kitemark standard. The Group is focussed on quality (3 year guarantee on repairs), whilst minimising downtime and fully controlling costs and can accommodate motorcycles to specialist heavy goods vehicles and everything in between.
• Detailed management information - The Group provides clients with readily available reports on payments made, payments recovered and accident types and all are bespoke to a client’s specific requirement. This will help fleet managers to keep and report on relevant information as and when required. In addition, the solution provides online access to claims records, so clients can keep track of the status of any claim in real time, via the Internet.
• Controlling insurance renewal costs by minimising the third party claim in the event of a ‘not at fault’ incident. Wherever possible Heath Lambert contacts the parties not at fault within an hour of the incident being reported to assist them with repairs, replacement vehicles and advice on liability. This reduces the impact of credit hire operators becoming involved and considerably inflating third party claims costs.
