Ai Dresses Down for Charity

Ai Claims Solutions, the ethical motor insurance claims specialist based in Blackpool have raised over £5,500 for charity in the past 12 months. On the first Friday of every month Ai employees dress down and make a donation to a charity nominated by a staff member or to a local appeal. A third of the donations have come from the company matching employee contributions. Ai mainly supports charities that work in the surrounding area, such as Helping Hand, Rosemere Cancer Foundation at Royal Preston Hospital and The Lewis Edmunson Appeal. Ai also supports national charities such as Children in Need and Comic Relief. For Comic Relief 2007 CEO David Sandhu pledged that if Ai employees raise over £400 he would spend a day settling claims in the claims department; he gladly obliged when the total collected was over £580.
